Just Pondering

"What Dreams May Come,"
the Astral Realm and The Light

I highly recommend seeing "What Dreams May Come," a consciousness expanding film directed by Vincent Ward and based on Richard Matheson's 1978 novel. The film follows the primary character, Chris Neilson, played by Robin Williams, through his death and subsequent trip into the afterlife.

The scenery and special effects are beautiful as they lace together the mixture of Chris's dream reality combined with the other dreamers in the astral plane. Each contributing something to the common visions, each maintaining their separate reality. Those beings on the higher astral levels know they are the dreamer creating the dreams - those on the lower- i.e.: hell, are oblivious to this fact. Chris played by Robin Williams, finds himself living in a painted world — symbolic for creating you own reality — and is helped to understand that he is the dreamer of his dream. When Chris understands this concept, he moves up a level and his reality changes around him. His wife, Anne, played by Annabella Sciorra, is not so lucky, as she commits suicide over her guilt and loneliness and becomes trapped in an astral hell of her own creation. She forgets who she is — a parable for earth life and how most people forget who they are — and she goes unconscious about just about everything. Chris, finds her through his love for her, and brings her out of her own private hell. The way this happens is very enlightening. See the movie if you can...

The LIGHT
My reason for "Just Pondering" this show is what it does and does not teach us. It is very accurate in its portrayal of the astral plane and how beings interface in it, on some levels. There are millions of levels of interaction, just as there are millions of souls passing through the astral, each changing it with their passing. Without giving away too much of the show, I would also like to point out that the show deals with the astral, and only the astral. Every scene reaches no higher. At their wonderful home in their shared heaven, they are still in separation, on the astral, close to the earth plane. In the LIGHT is oneness, no separation, no duality, no me and you, it's an US, a WE. WE are ONE. I don't look at you, because I AM you and you are me. A WE. It's a place of peace and tranquillity. It's from the ONE that we chose our incarnations. It's from the ONE that we remember who we are. There are higher and higher levels of ONEness, in the LIGHT. We do not lose our identity (with a small i) as the ego fears, we gain our Identity (with a large I), we gain the Universe and beyond. It's in the ONE that we are HOME.

The Astral Realm
This film shows Chris and Anne incarnating from their shared heaven. This would not be possible from the astral and duality. From the astral plane we can ponder incarnations, but we cannot create them on earth. If we believed we incarnated, it would only create it in the astral on an earth-like place. From the astral, beings can only influence or possess* others, and very few can do this as they are usually caught up in their own dream reality. Lost In Their Own Dreams Another thing that concerns me about the impression "When Dreams May Come," leaves with viewers, is that those who committed suicide are lost, and it's hard to reach or rescue them. It's not hard, that what praying and forgiveness does. Your praying for someone, in a selfless way, for the highest Light for the highest good for them, creates attention or LIGHT on them. That Light, reaches them and helps them find their way HOME. The purer the Light and the intention, the clearer THE WAY for them.
